膜乳化技術とは何ですか?

2024-05-29

Membrane emulsification technology is based on a core principle: by applying appropriate pressure, the dispersed phase is passed through a membrane with uniform micropores, thereby dispersing into droplets with consistent particle sizes. Under the continuous flushing action of the continuous phase, when the droplets reach the critical conditions for detachment from the membrane surface, stable and uniform emulsion droplets are formed.

Based on different emulsification mechanisms, membrane emulsification technology can be subdivided into direct membrane emulsification and rapid membrane emulsification.

Direct membrane emulsification: This method involves pushing the dispersed phase through small pores on a solid membrane under preset pressure, thereby forming droplets of the dispersed phase on the other side of the membrane. Subsequently, through the flow and shear force of the continuous phase, these droplets are smoothly detached from the membrane pores. Due to the relatively low efficiency of this method, it is more suitable for small-batch production.

Rapid membrane emulsification (preformed emulsion membrane emulsification): This method first prepares a primary emulsion using traditional emulsification techniques, and then passes the primary emulsion through a membrane tube to achieve further refinement of the droplets. When the operating pressure exceeds the critical value, the large droplets of the primary emulsion are broken into smaller droplets when passing through the membrane pores, significantly improving production efficiency. Therefore, it is more suitable for large-scale production needs.

In the future, with the continuous development and improvement of membrane emulsification technology, it is believed that more innovative achievements will emerge, injecting new vitality into the development of the biomedical and skincare industries.
